Zero emissions with zero compromise.
For detective, administrative or other specialized use, the special service plug-in hybrid sedan offers a potential way to help reduce fuel usage and CO2 omissions while personnel is on duty. It can provide an ideal option for communities seeking to reduce their carbon footprint.
Dual mode driving.
For non-pursuit applications, it offers zero-fuel, zero-in emissions operation in full battery mode, combined with the flexibility of the gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain for extended range.
Efficient, block after block.
When fully charged, the Ford hybrid special service plug-in hybrid sedan has an EPA-estimated range of up to 25 miles of electric-only power before the gasoline-electric hybrid drivetrain seamlessly takes over.
The 7.6kWh lithium/ion battery charges in approximately 2.5 hours using an optional 240V charger. It can also be charged overnight with the standard 120V charger that plugs into any standard wall outlet.
There's much more about the 2020 SSV Plug-In Hybrid Sedan than we can mention here. We invite your call for all the details.
